Pricing and booking
- How much does holiday lighting installation cost?
- Every project is quoted after we see the property, because cost depends on the length of the rooflines, the number of trees and the decor you choose. Residential installations begin at $2,000. The quote covers design, installation, in-season maintenance and January removal.
- What's included in the price?
- Everything: the design walkthrough, all lights and materials from our inventory, installation, repairs during the season and removal in January. There's nothing extra to buy.
- How far ahead should I book?
- As early as you can. Installation dates are limited, and the calendar fills as the season approaches.
- When do installations start?
- Installations begin November 1 and run into early December.
How it works
- How does the quote process work?
- Send a quote request with your address and what you have in mind. We size most homes from satellite imagery, then schedule a walkthrough with the owner to finalize the design. You get a written proposal showing exactly what goes where.
- Do I need to send photos?
- Usually not. We only ask for photos if the house is hidden behind a hedge or gate.
- Do I need to own the home?
- No. Renters are welcome. If your lease or HOA requires approval, that's between you and them.
- Do I buy the lights?
- No. We install lights from our own commercial-grade inventory, then take them down in January and store and maintain them for next season. Larger decor pieces, like giant trees or oversized spheres, can also be purchased outright if you'd like to keep them.
During the season
- What happens if a light goes out?
- Contact us and we'll repair it within 24 hours, all season long.
- Who turns the lights on and off?
- We do. Every display runs on a timer we set at installation, on a schedule you choose.
- Will the lights damage my roof or gutters?
- We attach lights with clips made for gutters, shingles and ridge caps rather than nails or staples, and we remove everything in January.
- When are the lights taken down?
- In January. We remove everything and leave the house as we found it.

- We're based in Silver Lake and serve Bel Air, Brentwood, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, Hancock Park, Larchmont, Los Feliz, the Bird Streets, Hollywood Hills, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Glassell Park, Pasadena and San Marino. Outside these areas? Ask anyway.
- Do you work with businesses?
- Yes. We light hotels, restaurants and storefronts, scheduled around your hours, including large pieces like giant tower trees.
